12th Annual Teacup Exchange

12th Annual Mug and Teacup Exchange from www.thisautoimmunelife.com

The Enchanting Rose 12th Teacup Exchange took place this past month. In this exchange I receive someone’s name to send gifts to.  Someone else receives my name to send me gifts. Stephanie Dunsdon does a great job matching people up! Thanks Stephanie! She arranges these exchanges twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. So if you’d like to join in next time, stop her website and sign up for a reminder email.  In addition, check out all the lovely gifts that were exchanged at The Enchanting Rose!

Gifts I sent:

The name of the lady I received is Krishna. She lives in California and her likes include the colors pink and blue as well as shabby chic decor. I bought her this cute mug from Hobby Lobby with her initial on it (of course I used my 40% off coupon!). I also made her some shabby chic decor using the pink and blue colors she likes.

Gifts I Received:

Mary Stephens is the lady that received my name. She lives in Texas as well. The funny thing is, I have a friend by the name of Mary Stephens that lives in New York. So when I received an email from her I was a little confused at first.  Then it made me smile to think I now had 2 friends with the same name!

I loved all the gifts I received – thank you so much Mary! I especially love the journal because it has one of my favorite bible verses on it – Matthew 19:26 “With God all things are possible”. In addition to that, it is my favorite color pink! The little zipper pouch has come in handy to hold my sunglasses because I always scratch them when I throw them into my purse. The cards and mug are beautiful. I’m trying to decide what to make with the pink chevron material that was included. Maybe something for my new grandbaby?? And the cute bag with the flowers on it – it was made by Stephanie Dunsdon herself! I used it to bring some snacks with me when we went to visit our new grandbaby last week. Mary did such a great job picking out my teacup exchange gifts!

Here is the exchange that took place last October if you want to check it out also.

Good morning, sweet Roseann! Oh, what a delightful post full of mug goodness. I, too, smiled about “Mary Stephens” and indeed, what a small world to now have two friends by that name. The package you sent to Krishna is beautiful with its soft pink tones and everything Mary sent you is simply lovely.

Thanks for joining the fun. Hugs! Stephanie-The Enchanting Rose

  6. What lovely packages. I’ve always like monogrammed mugs! I’m also admiring the pretty floral design of your mug.
