Currently July 2018
Celebrating – the 4th of July by going to the local town parade, enjoying some ribs and watching the fireworks that go off around our house.
Visiting – Texas’ hill country for a short getaway. We rented a home from Home Away which enabled us to take our furry friend. She had a great time chasing rabbits and deer! We enjoyed visiting the WWII museum, the Texas Rangers exhibit and looking in the shops at Frederickburg. We also had time to climb Enchanted Rock and walk along the Guadalupe River.
Baking – sugar free blueberry pie for me with the blueberries I picked from our local blueberry farm. I’m also baking some buckeye brownies for a friend at work who is celebrating her birthday next week.
Wearing – a new dress I purchased for my daughter’s wedding shower. I don’t wear dressed too often but the shower is being held in a tea room at a nearby restaurant so I figured I better dress for the occasion!
Loving – getting pictures of my granddaughter. She will be 2 months old later this week. Although her mama says she doesn’t like to sleep you would never know it by the smiles she always has in her pictures!
