Currently August 2018

Currently I am . . .

Following the Free Technology For Teachers blog. As school starts in 2 weeks I am back into that mode. And for those of you who don’t know, my role at school is Instructional Technology Coach. Richard from FTFT always has great ideas to use in the classroom.

Ordering new tennis shoes. I wear tennis shoes almost every day. Since I have inflammation in my feet that is aggravated by shoes without good support, I wear tennis shoes to work where I average about 14,000 steps a day. And since work is about to start up once again it’s time for new shoes. Although I would love to wear some of the really cute ones I’ve seen I just can’t  😥

Pinning lots of stuff to make the grandbaby. I can’t seem to get enough of all the cute things to make!

Watching whatever happens to be on the TV. I’m not much of a TV person. So whatever happens to be on TV is what I’m watching. Generally westerns, news or college ball. The only exception to that is Christmas – Hallmark all the way!

Counting down the days until I can put up all of my fall decorations and have a pumpkin spice latte! Every craft store has their fall decorations out. Even Bath & Body Works has already started selling their fall scents. When is Starbucks going to get on board??

What have you been up to lately?

  1. Ah, when you’ve got a baby to make stuff for, Pinterest is super fun – but also a little bit of a danger zone 🙂 Enjoy!

  2. I wear tennis shoes a lot too because they are the best for my feet. I can wear other types of shoes for a bit, but not if I’m going to be standing or walking for awhile.

  3. Lovely list, but I’m in no hurry for autumn to arrive!
I want the summer to linger long.

  4. How exciting to be able to follow along with free tech for teachers stuff!! Hope the rest of your summer goes super well!!

  5. My favorite time of year! What type of tennis shoes are you purchasing. I have foot problems too. Happy Summer, Kippi

  6. Back when I was teaching the principal would not allow us to wear tennis shoes without a doctor’s note. He was so ridiculous.

I love decorating for fall too.

  7. Hi Roseann! It’s lovely to catch up with all you are doing. 14,000 steps a day is amazing – no wonder you need new tennis shoes. And congratulations on your Grandbaby! Thank you for sharing, and for being a part of the Hearth and Soul LInk Party! Have a wonderful week!
