Materials:

1 wood slice with hole drilled
Ribbon or twine for hanging
Picture printed with laserjet printer or color copier (inkjet does not work)
Plaid Mod Podge Transfer Medium
Paint brush
Sponge

Directions:

If your wood slice already has twine attached, untie it and remove it.

Cut your picture out to fit on your wood slice. With the picture side up, use the paint brush to cover the image with the transfer medium. Place the picture side down on the wood. Use fingers to smooth out the picture. Remove any excess medium from the edges with a wet paper towel.

Wait 24 hours allowing time for the transfer medium to dry.

Wet the sponge so it is moist. Using the sponge, rub gently across the picture removing the paper. The image will be transferred to the wood.

If you use words, make sure they are mirrored before you print them. Use the same process to transfer them to the other side of the ornament.

You can also use some sandpaper around the edges if like mine the edges come out a little uneven.

Spray both sides of the ornament with finish or coat with glossy mod podge. Tie twine or ribbon to the ornament for hanging.
