Crocheted Baby Leg Warmers

Crocheted Baby Leg Warmers for the December Pinterest Challenge from www.thisautoimmunelife.com #Christmas #crochet #legwarmers #baby

Welcome to the December Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop, hosted by My Pinterventures. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I chose to make crocheted baby leg warmers. My inspiration came from this pin from Loveable Loops.

Crocheted Baby Leg Warmers

Materials:

Small amount of yarn in red and white
Size I crochet hook
2 Red Bows

Directions:

These are really easy to make! I made the 6/12 month size so I started with a chain of 27. Then join with a slip stitch. The rest is made with double crochet, alternating colors and joining at the end of each round. For this size I made 18 rounds. One thing I did differently than the directions from Loveable Loops is to decrease 1 stitch each round starting with the 10th round. This allowed them to taper to a smaller size at the ankles.  Then tie off at the end. Use a tapestry needle to weave the loose end in.  For more detailed instructions, please be sure to visit Loveable Loops. Finally glue the red bows to the bottom front side of the leg warmers.
