Halloween Ghost T-Shirt

Halloween Ghost T-Shirt
I bought a pattern for this Halloween Ghost T-Shirt years ago. The shirt I made originally is finally showing some wear and tear although I only get to wear it a couple times a year. So I decided to make a new one this summer. I looked online to see if the company I purchased the pattern from, Sleeves N Tees, was still in business but I couldn’t find anything. Hopefully I’m not stepping on anyone’s toes by sharing this pattern.
Materials:
White T-Shirt
Water Soluble Marking Pen
Orange, Green, Black, Yellow and White Glitter Shiny Fabric Paint
Directions:
- Transfer the pattern by putting the paper pattern under the top layer of the shirt. Then use a water soluble pen to trace the outline onto the top of the t-shirt.
- Use Scribbles Fabric Paints in bright orange, bright green and black to fill in the large solid areas. I poured small amounts in a bowl and used a paint brush to paint the hat, patches, shoes and bag.
- Allow those to dry then use the black paint to go over all of the outlines and fill in the eyes as well as the shoes.
- Use the yellow paint to add dots to the patches. I poured some in a bowl then dipped my thumb in the paint and added the thumbprints to the patches. The diamond glitter paint was used to write “Peek A Boo” on the bag.
- The final touches added were orange dots added around the ghost and a orange polka-dot ribbon sewn to the bag.
Isn’t he cute! Happy Halloween!
Aw this little character is super cute. Personally I don’t do anything really scary for Halloween as I want the munchkins to want to join in. This character is perfect for that so cute on a shirt of treat bag.

T-shirt painting seems to have gone by the wayside with the invention of Cricut and other cutting machines! I hope your grandkids enjoy their shirts!
