Lighted Christmas Tree Decorations

To kick off the Happy Holidays Link Party 2018, I am sharing how to make these Lighted Christmas Tree Decorations. They make a nice addition to your mantel or table!
Lighted Christmas Tree Decorations
Materials:
Sheet of colored 12 x 12 scrap paper (1 sheet makes 1 tree)
Glue
Tea Lights
Tree Pattern
Cricut
Directions:
Click on the link for the pattern and add it to your project page in Cricut Design Space.
Cut the pattern out using your Cricut. If you have a score tool you can use the pattern as is. If you do not have a score tool, just hide all of the score lines before making the project.
Fold all of the sides and tabs along the score lines. (I don’t have a score tool so I just folded it by looking at the pattern).
Add glue to the tabs and then press all of the sides closed.
The circle hole will be the bottom of the tree. Just turn on your tea light and put it through the hole. If you need them to be a little more sturdy, you might need to put a dab of glue to hold the tea light in place.
If you would like to make your own pattern in Cricut Design Space, here is a video explaining how to do that.
What a fun idea for decor! Very festive and I love the soft glow of the lights.

These are so pretty on your mantel. I love the glow of the tea lights and oh the pretty scrapbook paper that you can use. If time allows I would love to make some too!
The trees are so adorable. I like the idea that they light up. There is nothing as festive as the glow of Christmas lights.

It’s very pretty and could fit in any decor style.
These are adorable. I love anything that lights up around the holidays to counterbalance all those early dark nights. Pinned.
