It’s Day 8 and we are sharing Christmas In A Jar Ideas!


Gingerbread Hot Cocoa Mix

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
Cinnamon – 1 Tablespoon
Ginger – 1 Tablespoon
Allspice – 1  teaspoon
pinch of salt

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Add to small jars. Use labels to decorate your jar. Attach a tag with the directions on how to make the hot cocoa (3 servings):

Mix heaping 1/2 cup of mix with 3 cups milk. Add 1 Tablespoon molasses and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cook over medium heat until heated through. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
