Currently September 2019

It is that time of the month again where I join up with Anne from Anne In Residence for her monthly link up – Currently September 2019! Be sure to stop by Anne’s website to find out what others have been up to this month!
Currently September 2019
I am . . .
Making some early Christmas presents and decorations. I like getting my handmade Christmas presents completed early so I don’t feel rushed during the holiday.
Taking lots of naps! School started several weeks ago for me. Handling all of the technology for a school with 1200+ students and 120+ employees is a lot of physically exhausting work! Somehow over the summer things go missing and stop working. So I spend a lot of time the first month moving and repairing equipment from desktops to chromebooks and ipads. In addition I spend time climbing ladders to fix projectors and tv’s and climbing under counters and desks to correct connections. By the time I get home at the end of the day I’m just plain exhausted!
Discovering that I’m getting too old to do all the work my job requires!
Consuming plenty of water. It is still really hot here in Texas so water is with me at all times!
Saving ideas for fall bridal showers. I’m giving a shower for my soon to be sister-in-law in October. She decided on a fall theme so we’re still trying to decide on decor and food. If you have any great ideas leave a comment below!
So what have you been up to Currently?
Last month this is what I was up to!
That is awesome that you are making/planning Christmas already. I need to get on top of that.
I can imagine fixing all the things for all those people would be exhausting.
Ooh I like the idea of a Fall themed shower. Fall is my favorite. Whew, your job does sound exhausting. I’m always all about naps. 🙂

Wow, I’m impressed with the early Christmas making! I always intend to do that too, but somehow my handmade gift ideas only occur to me later in November and then I feel a bit pressed for time… So what are you making?!
And I bet you’re wiped out at the end of a school day – naps sound very justified. Hope you get adjusted to the schedule soon 🙂
I’m making some Cricut projects – bags, t-shirts . . . as well as sewing some matching pajama pants. I have to get projects done early because I’m too tired once school starts!
Oh I wish I was as organized as you seem to be. I should be working on Christmas presents already but I am working on catching up things that were on my spring/summer to do list as far as home projects.
