How To Make A Scrap Paper Basket

Welcome to the December Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop! The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I chose to make a Scrap Paper Basket. My inspiration came from this pin from Down Home Inspiration.
How To Make A Scrap Paper Basket
Materials:
12″ x 12″ piece of scrapbook paper
Ribbon to match
Ruler and pencil
Hole punch
Directions:
Lay the paper with the pattern side down. With a pencil, lightly draw lines vertically and horizontally every 3 inches. Then in each of the corner squares draw a line diagonally through the center.
Fold along each of the horizontal and vertical lines. I used my ruler to get a straight fold.
Next, fold the corner squares along the diagonal line so that your pattern side touches.
Punch a hole in each of the four corners about a cm from the edge. Pull up those corners and run the ribbon through the holes. Tie the ribbon in a bow.
This basket will be great to hold any small lightweight gifts you may have!
