In case you’re new to the blog, the purpose of the Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month’s challenge is about Spring Crafts/DIY Projects, so I chose to make this Spring Peony Floral Wreath. My inspiration came from this pin.

Spring Peony Floral Wreath

The pin that gave me the inspiration for this wreath goes to a store that is charging over $250 for their wreath. That is way over my budget for my decor! The materials for my wreath cost under $20! Quite a savings!

Materials:

1 greenery wreath
Several pink peonies
2 pink bead sprays
2 clear bead sprays
White sheer ribbon
Floral wire
Hot glue

Directions:

The wreath I used was purchased on clearance from Kirkland’s. It already had the greenery on the grapevine wreath. You could however purchase a grapevine wreath and add your own greenery.

Lay out your peonies and decide on placement. Then stick the stems of the peonies through the greenery and into the grapevine wreath so they stick out the back. Use a small piece of floral wire to wire the stems to the back of the grapevine wreath. Add a small amount of hot glue to the peony if needed to keep it in place on the greenery. (I used a cool touch glue gun – less burned fingers!)

Cut apart the clear bead sprays(picks) and glue them onto the greenery around the wreath between the peonies.

Use the pink bead sprays(picks) along the bottom facing outward. Stick the stems through the greenery into the grapevine wreath. Use floral wire and/or glue to hold them in place.

The sheer ribbon is used to make a bow for the bottom. Use floral wire and glue to hold it secure to the bottom of the wreath.

This wreath is really easy and only took about 20 minutes to make. Perfect for adding that springtime touch to your decor!

Perfect DIY Peony Floral Wreath for your springtime decor!
